Evaluating dyspnoea in primary care.
Med Today Jan ;5(2):49-53.

Dyspnoea is one of the most common complaints for which patients consult a doctor. It is a subjective experience of breathing discomfort and has more than 30 causes involving multiple organ systems, making evaluation of these patients challenging, especially in primary care setting. There is significant misdiagnosis, under or over treatment for common problems presenting with this complaint. With systematic approach to history and physical examination and by performing simple tests, diagnosis can be established in most patients. This is a review.
