Patients and Methods: We performed 22 percutaneous cementoplasty procedures in patients with severe osteoporosis and vertebral tumors. Using a dedicated therapeutic vertebroplasty technique that uses newly designed instruments, acrylic cement, and guidance with image intensifier for pain control in patients with bone failure, we report their experience. Results: In patients with osteoporosis, satisfactory results were obtained in 83% of cases; in patients with vertebral tumours, satisfactory results were obtained in 75% of cases.
