Extra skeletal Ewing Sarcoma: a Rare Mediastinal Tumor.
Pak J Chest Med Jan ;19(3):121-3.

Ewing sarcoma is an uncommon, small round cell tumor affecting bones and soft tissues of children and young adults. Intra-thoracic Ewing sarcoma is a rare entity. There are few reported cases of extra-skeletal Ewing Sarcoma arising in the mediastinum. We report a case of a huge mediastinal mass in an 18 year old man who presented with chest pain and progressive dyspnea. Radiologically it was a huge mediastinal mass involving right hemithorax with moderate pleural effusion. Immunohistochemistry favored the diagnosis of Extraskeletal Ewing Sarcoma/Primitive Neuroectodermal Tumor (EES/PNET)
