Pak Paed J Jan ;44(1):61-4.

Pediatric differentiated thyroid carcinoma is a rare disease and usually manifests in the form of papillary thyroid carcinoma. We present here two rare cases of papillary thyroid carcinoma. One case is a 7 years old child, who presented initially with lung symptoms and miliary nodules on chest X-ray, emphasizing the important differential of miliary mottling of the lungs. Second case showed more aggressive presentation of papillary carcinoma in a 12 years old boy with thyroid swelling and pulmonary metastasis.
