This study presents the clinico-pathological data of I1 cases with Ewing`s sarcoma which includes skeletal Ewing`s sarcoma, 8 cases and extraskeletal Ewing`s sarcoma, 3 cases, diagnosed between 1988 and 2003. Skeletal Ewing`s sarcoma was most common in second decade with male predilection having long bone involvement, 5 cases (62.5%), in them the and diaphyseal origin in 4 cases (80%). Extraskelelal Ewing`s sarcoma was commonly diagnosed in first decade with male predilection, 2 cases (66.7%) having soft tissue origin in paravertebral cervicodorsal region, whereas retroperitoneal and right leg, one case each. The radiological investigations include plain X-rays, Ultrasound and CT Scan, they were performed on all the 11 cases. In addition to these, bone scan and MRI were carried out in the 3 cases of extraskeletal Ewing`surcoma. Morphologically, the tumor cells of the extraskeletal Ewing`s sarcoma were not different from its counterpart skeletal Ewing`s Sarcoma cells. The diagnosis of extraskelelal Ewing`s Sarcoma was based upon its soft tissue origin and its positive reaction with immunohistochemical stain. Extraskeletal Ewing`s Sarcoma should fall in the differential diagnosis of round cell soft tissue sarcomas. The clinicopathological data of this series is in accordance with other studies on Ewing`s Sarcoma.
