Med Today Jan ;5(2):61-3.

Dengue fever (DF) and malaria, both acute vector born febrile diseases, have similar geographical spread and are found in the ropics. Both infections are becoming an increasing public health problem world wide and case reports of concurrent infection of DF and malaria have been documented in Pakistan. Taking into consideration the mortality, a primary care physician should know the natural history and prompt management of concurrent infections.
