A Clinico Pathological Study of Carcinoma Breast.

51 female patients suffering from carcinoma breast were studied in the Deptt of Surgery Sir Ganga Ram Hospital Lahore. Clinical presentation, findings of Physical examination, investigations and Histopathological findings were recorded. It was founded that most of the cases belonged to age group 30-49 years. 47% of the patients reported when disease was advanced in Stage III and Stage IV. Most of the patients (58.8%) were belonging to middle class. Left breast was involved more (58.8%) in malignancy compared to the right breast. On histological examination most common variety (52.9%) was infiltrating duct carcinoma. Clinical presentation differ to some extent compared to the West. Public education regarding early medical consultation may improve the prognosis in our patients.
