Antibodies against Mycobacterium Tuberculosis in Apparently Healthy Persons.
Pak J Health Jan ;35(3-4):99-102.

Antimycobacterial antibodies (IgG, IgM and IgA) were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) using A 60 antigen purified from Mycobacterium bovis. The study included 44 apparently healthy attendants and relatives of tuberculous patients. Eight cases were negative for all the three antibodies while 36 cases were positive for IgG / IgM or IgA antibodies. The test was found to be useful for screening the attendants and contacts of tuberculous patients.
