Histological patterns of Hodgkin`s disease in Southern Punjab.
Pak J Pathol Jan ;7(4):11-4.

This study was extended over a period of 5 years. 159 cases of Hodgkin`s disease were diagnosed on lymph node biopsy. There were 120 males and 39 females, with male to female ratio of 3:1. More than 50% patients were less than 30 years of age with a second peak incidence in sixth decade, suggesting bimodal age distribution. The commonest histological type was mixed cellularity (56.60%), then lymphocytic depleted variety (22.01 %) followed by lymphocytic predominance (15.10%) in order of frequency. The least common sub-type was nodular sclerosis (6.29%).
