Total Intravenous Anaesthesia for Day Care Surgery: A Comparative study.

Two techniques of total Intravenous anaesthesia (TIVA) for day care surgery were compared in 60 patients. Croup PNV received propofol, nalbuphine and vecuroniun and group KMV received midazolam ketamine and vecuronium. Haemodynamic stability after induction and the pressor response to tracheal intubation were significantly different. There was no significant difference in recovery time between the two groups and only minor differences were observed in other post-operative sequelae
