Undiff erentiated thoracic esophageal sarcoma.

Esophageal carcinoma is high among the Asian population, though the esophageal carcinoma worldwide is rare with a prevalence rate of 0.1-1.5%. Esophageal sarcomas is a further rare entity. Th e commonest esophageal tumour is squamous cell carcinoma. Th e adenocarcinoma of esophagus also showing rising incidence due to the increase in dysplasia of the lower end of the esophagus. Th is is case report of a 70 year old female with undiff erentiated thoracic esophageal sarcoma in whom an oesophagogastroduodenoscopy (OGD) was performed as the primary procedure of care.
