Expressed emotions (EE) is the hostility, critical comments (CC), emotional over involvement (EOI) demonstrated by some families toward a family member. Expressed emotions have been widely studied, across cultures and therapeutic settings as treatment outcomes and relapse in most serious and habitual schizophrenic cases. It adversely affect the long-term course of the disorder.
