Patients received either oral dydrogesterone or progesterone injected intramuscularly, respectively. The clinical efficacy and safety of both drugs were observed. Results: There were no significant differences in age, gravidity, parity and gestational age between the two groups (p> 0.05) and there was no significant difference in progesterone levels following treatment (p > 0.05). There were no significant differences in the success rate of fetus protection, abortion rate and treatment time between the groups (p > 0.05). Conclusion: Dydrogesterone and progesterone have significant beneficial effects in the treatment of threatened abortion, and they are easy to use and safe.
