Nasal glioma: a case report and review of literature.

Nasal gliomas are rare midline congenital tumors oft en misdiagnosed as encephaloceles. One month old child presented with mass protruding from right nostril. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) showed that the nasal mass was extending into the ethmoid sinus without having any intracranial extension. Patient was operated and the mass was excised completely. Histopathological examination revealed it to be a nasal glioma. Post-operatively the patient remained well.
