Air Pollution by Motor Vehicle Emission at Murree High Way.
J Rawal Med Coll Jan ;1(2):75-7.

Air pollution due to vehicular.emission was studied starting from Satrameel upto Murree. The emissions monitored were TSP, CO, N02 and S02. Simultaneously recording weather parameters. The data showed that weather conditions generally remained constant except that of wind (direction and speed). The results of vehicular emission demonstrate that TPS and CO levels were significantly higher than WHO guide-lines. Whereas S02 levels were within the guide line limits. It may be concluded that vehicular emissions should be controlled by implementing environment quality standards so as to minimize health risk to humans.
