Leigh Disease: A Rare Neurometabolic Disorder.

Leigh disease is a rare Mitochondrial disorder, which is progressive neurodegenerative in nature with characteristic MRI findings. There is no curative treatment for this disorder, and the prognosis of this disease is not satisfactory, usually patients die within the first few years of life after appearance of symptoms. We present six years old girl presented with psychomotor regression and dystonia, diagnosed as Leigh disease.
