Aggressive therapy with steroids and cytotoxic agents in patients with proliferative form i.e. WHO classification criteria of Class HI and IV has shown improved survival. Besides treating the acute immunological insult, long term management should be directed towards control of hypertension and hyperlipidemia, as well as early recognition and treatment of the relapses.
