Eagle`s Syndrome.
Ann Pak Inst Med Sci Jan ;9(3):164-6.

Eagle’s syndrome is a rare, symptomatic elongation of the styloid process due to the calcification of the stylohyoid ligament. We present a case of Eagle’s syndrome in a 35 year male who reported with sharp pain on neck movements and deglutition. Radiological exploration revealed a completely calcified stylohyoid ligament with a single pseudo-articulation with the styloid process. Styloidectomy under general anesthesia was performed using an extra-oral approach which sufficed as a curative management option for the patient.
