Leiomyoma of Stomach.
J Pak Inst Med Sci Jan ;7(2)8(1,2):514-25.

Leiomyoma of stomach is relatively rarely encountered in clinical practice, though it is the commonest benign tumor of the stomach. Three cases of Leiomyoma of the stomach are presented. In the first one the leiomyoma was at the junction of fundus and body of the stomach; in the second at the pyloric antrum and in the third the leiomyoma was extra-gastric asising from the outer wall of the greater curvature of body of stomach. All were fairly large sized tumors and fortunately benign, since such large tumors of stomach are quite often Leiomyosarcomas. The variegated clinical picture in these three cases was consistent with the anatomical position of the tumors. The presentation, diagnosis and management of these three cases is discussed alongwith a brief resume on Leiomyomata.
