Total Intravenous Anesthesia for, Macdonald`s Stitch.
Pak J Surg Jan ;18(2):10-2.

Thirty pregnant females in the early 2nd trimester of gestation, all in ASA 1 status, were to undergo Macdonald`s stitch as they had a history of previous three consecutive abortions. General anaesthesia was planned using total intravenous anaesthesia (TIVA) technique. These patients were divided into three groups. Each group received a specific combination of drugs. Various parameters such as NIBP, pulse, SPO2 and movement of limbs were monitored in each group and the results compared. The best results were obtained with a combination of midazolam, propofol and a subclinical dose of injection Atracurium Besylate.
