Relationship Between Hamstring Flexibility Disability Related To Low Back Pain.

Objectives: To find out association between hamstring flexibility and disability related to low back pain. Methodology: A cross-sectional survey was conducted in Physiotherapy Al-Nafess hospital islamabad. One fifty subjects fulfilling the inclusion criteria were included in the study. Demographic data was collected in term of age, gender, occupation ,height, gender, BMI, hamstring self length, hamstring assisted length and disability related to low back pain by Oswestry low back pain questionnaire. Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient was used to find association between hamstring flexibility and low back pain. The data was analyzed through SPSS 20. The level of significance was set at p value less than 0.001. Result: The result showed that there is a strong association between hamstring flexibility and low back pain<0.001. Conclusion: The study concluded that the decreased hamstring flexibility contributes in development low back pain
