Ann King Edward Med Uni Jan ;9(2):127-9.

A total of eleven nasolabial flaps were used for reconstruction of various soft tissue defects of the face in six patients. Youngest patient was a four years old child who presented with bilateral cleft lip and palate with missing central upper lip, nasal floor and columella. The eldest patient in this study was a male, thirty-seven years of age, who presented with posttraumatic wound at malar region. In five patients bilateral inferiorly based flaps were used while in one case single superiorly based flap was used. All flaps healed well with donor site scarring concealed in the natural nasolabial fold and an excellent color match.
