Inversion Uterus.

This study was conducted in Unit-I, Department of Obst. & Gyne. Lady Willingdon Hospital, Lahore from January 2001 to December, 2002 over a period of 2 years. All patients with puerperal inversion of uterus admitted and managed during this period were included in this study. Total No. of deliveries during this period was 8970 and out of them 6350 were vaginal births. The incidence of inversion uterus was 0.078% and the commonest presenting features were shock and PPH (80%) cases. There was no maternal death during the study period.
