Angiotensin aldosterone System (RAAS).
J Akhtar Saeed Med Coll Jan ;2(4):205-8.

Abstract in the control of arterial blood pressure, fluid, and electrolyte balance, the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (RAAS) plays a very important role. Juxtaglomerular (JG) cells secrete renin which converts angiotensinogen to angiotensin 1 which is further changed into angiotensin II by angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) located in endothelial cells of the lung capillaries. angiotensin II exerts its actions to regulate blood pressure, fluid, and electrolyte balance. Key Words: Renin, angiotensinogen, Blood Pressure
