Study of opportunistic bacterial species associated with immunocompromised patients suffering from Breast Cancer.

To study the bacterial species associated with infections in breast cancer patients, swab taken from Ca breast patients, before (luring anti post treatment stages. Different bacterial species were isolated from 60 patients. Escherichia coli in 40, Staphylococcus aureus in 10 and Pseudomonas aeruginosa from 10 patients. The data obtained was also analyzed to reveal the frequency of opportunistic gram-negative bacterial species at various stages of treatment. It was seen that gram-negative opportunistic bacteria were mostly isolated, during and post treatment stages.
