The study of Homicidal deaths in Larkana.

Eighty-seven cases over a period of one year from January to December 1998 were studied for the associated characteristics of homicidal deaths in Larkana. The results of the study revealed that firearms were used in 46% while sharp edged weapons were used in 17% of cases. Male / Female ratio was 4:1. Maximum number of cases (38%) was noted between 21-30 years of age. The Rural population is more frequently involved (55%) in homicidal crimes than the urban population (45%).
