Mother & Child Jan ;38(1):23-31.

Socioeconomic characteristics of respondents are usually associated with child immunisation rates. It is believed that larger proportion of children from high than low socioeconomic strata are immunised. However, this study provides evidence that socioeconomic status is not significantly linked with child immunisation. The data show that geographic region, urban-rural residence, and size of family are important determinants of child immunisation.
