Hindgut duplication presenting as Perineal masses.
J Coll Physicians Surg Pak Jan ;11(7):463-4.

The authors report a case of hindgut duplication presenting as perineal masses at birth. Baby also had posterior trans-positioning of the penis with penoscrotal hypospadias. Investigations including ultrasonography, intravenous urography and contrast enema showed a normal urinary tract, colon and anorectal canal. Excision of the duplication was performed with anterior trans-positioning of the penis and release of chordae. Baby made an uneventful recovery. Histological examination of the masses confirmed it to be hindgut duplication.
