Re: BMJ Group announces the launch of BMJ Case Reports

Dear All
Salam

please read this post again. I have submitted one case report so far and the procedure is very user friendly, efficient and simple.
I encourage you all to avail this oppurtunity. After all you see many unusaul and rare cases in your clinical practise but do not share it. This is your oppurtunity so go for it.
You share your knowledge and get your name in BMJ ( a prestigios international Journal) and morover they are offering the BMJ case reports fellowship as well

So think over it again
Regards

BMJ Group announces the launch of BMJ Case Reports

Dear all

Hi

Please see this news ...reactivate your dormant neurons and try to write for this particular section...if nothing else this offer of BMJ fellowships is a good one...And if you are a hopeless case with a good case report pertaining to neurology, orthopedics or Rehabilitation then i may help you for a nominal fees of 10000000000 US dollars( Yes---this is not a joke and i would ask for cash only)

Regards

Farooq

Dear Colleague,

BMJ Group has launched a creative online service - BMJ Case Reports. In the past you may have had your case reports rejected by the BMJ, BMJ Journals or other publications, however we are aware that these are actually a great educational resource.

BMJ Case Reports will be an excellent resource for all healthcare workers and researchers and it is a chance to share your experiences. A high volume of cases across all disciplines will be published so that healthcare professionals, researchers and others can easily find clinically important information on common and rare conditions. When our live site launches later this year we will be including most of the previously published cases from across the BMJ Group products so there will be 100s of cases available.

Submit your case reports now
We are accepting submissions using our online system
We strongly encourage you to read our brief instructions for authors as all cases must be submitted using our Word template. All case reports will be peer reviewed and we are happy to consider articles that have been rejected by other journals.

Accepted cases will initially be published on our beta site casereports.bmj.com but then copy edited and published on the live as soon as it is ready (scheduled for September 200. This site will have sophisticated searching, browsing and alerting functionality.
BMJ Case Report fellowships
BMJ Case Reports has a unique subscription model whereby users (whether authors and/or readers) become FELLOWS for an annual fee. But to celebrate the launch of BMJ Case Reports we are offering free fellowships to authors of the first 100 cases submitted (you will be able to submit as many cases as you like and access all the published cases until the end of 2009).

Benefits of becoming a Fellow:

* Submit as many cases as you like
* Access all the published material
* Reuse any of the material for personal use and teaching

Even if you are not among the first 100 authors we will not charge you until December 2008 and you will not have to renew until December 2009.

We look forward to reading your cases

Best wishes,

Dean Jenkins, Editor BMJ Case Reports
