i did my internship in aku so had a chance to see & interact e these post fellow residents.
this is a higher training focusing on speciality eg.
1- one doc did fcps in medicine ...after that he joined aku for higher training in gastroentrology ..so he would hav taken fcps-2 again in gastroentrology to become a gastroentrologist.
2- one surgeon did fcps in g surgery at than joined ortho pedic residency (post fellow ) as R-3 than did fcps-2 again in ortho to become an ortho surgeon.....but ...a direct and more simple approach towards the required specialty can be adopted towards these / any specialty after fcps-1.

POST-FELLOW RESIDENCY

SOME INSTITUTIONS LIKE AGA KHAN HOSPITAL AND SINDH INSTITUTE OF UROLOGY & TRANSPLANTATION (SIUT) KARACHI HAVE LAUNCHED POST-FELLOW RESIDENCY. CAN ANY BODY GUIDE US REGARDING THIS TYPE OF TRAINING?
