Re: pancreatitis
You are right that some of the forum threads are inactive. There is a method of informing the thread starter about the subsequent disucussions and replies. I'll be glad if you give me comments how to improve this forum to make it more beneficial.

Re: pancreatitis
It is interesting to note a trend in our dicussions. I guess this is due to underuse of this forum. Questions posted years ago are answered at irregular intervals making one wonder if the person originally posting the question is still logging in. Should there be a limit of time to close the thread for discussion due to inactivity ? Is there any way of notifying the original thread starter about follow-up discussions ? This will help in keeping the interest & should generate healthy useful discussions.
By the way can we know the follow-up in this particular patient. MRCP stands for Magnetic Resonance Cholangio Pancreatography & can provide diagnostic information comparative to ERCP along with the MRI/MRA of the adjacent organs & vessels.

LOL, I think you meant Endoscopic Retrograde cholangio-pancreatography (ERCP). Any GI specialist should be able to do it as an outpatient procedure.
