Clear all your browser Cache and cookies ... and restart it ... this will correct the problem you mentioned ...
this problem is due to forum and website which both gets some user conflicts ... it gets clear with cookie / cache clear ...

Re: Resposne to Research synopsis
Every time I am posting my comments in Synospis section [Impact of Pterygium size on Corneal Topography], I am being asked to log in again (when I am already signed in). Once I type my username and pass, and then go back to the original page to add my comments, I am asked to login again, and this goes on....
Similar problem happens when I try to upgrade my profile...

Resposne to Research synopsis
As I am unable to post this at the right place (technical problems) on this web-site, I am posting it here and hopefully people concerned will be able to read and benefit from it.

Dear Yasir,
In addition to useful comment by Dr Qayyum. There are some specific issues that I would like to raise.
1. Standardisation of measurements:
As the assessment of the boundary of the pterygium base is quite subjective, it maybe sensible that two readers assess this independently on the slit lamp.
2. Masking (blinding): The individuals involved in measurement of pterygium size should be completely blind to the astigmatism measurements in the study participants.
3. I suggest you justify your inclusion/exclusion criteria.
4. For Pearson's correlation test, you should ensure the data is normally distributed otherwise use Spearman’s correlation test.
5. I am sure you are aware of relevant publications in this area. I suggest you read them critically before conducting/writing up your own study. I have copied some for your attention.
