plz somebody help me cuz i have to travel to lahore in a couple of days and i have small kids so i am very mcuh worried about dengue virus...i want to ask a PEDIATRITION...THAT CAN DENGUE VIRUS BE SPEADABLE FROM ONE PERSON WHO IS AFFECTED TO ANOTHER..LIKE FROM HUMAN TO HUMAN...
and what is THE PROPHYLAXIS AND EPIDEMIOLOGY of this virus...thanks plzzz help em in resolving this problem...

Re: DENGUE VIRUSWell Madam rest assured that dengue virus is not transmissible from person to person... It is only transmitted by the bite of infected mosquitoes of Aedes genus.As for prophylaxis u can use mosquito repellents and cover those parts of the body which usually suffer mosquito bites.
