helo everyone, my topic is comparison of placental histopathology in hypertensive versus normotensive primigravidas. the prevalence is 11 percent in our setup. al i know is to have confidence level of 95 percent. which formula to be used.

In this case the sample size will be 141 with 5% precision and population size unknown. Agian I am available for further help

tell me your outcome variable. you want to determine what in the end or you want to make comaparison in terms of which variable?

the calculation of sample size u are asking for can not be calculated on the basis of information u r giving, as it depends on ur objective and study design i will recomend you to consult cpsp regional centre for actual and proper calculation
