Assalam Alaikum
My name is Syed Tallal Mehdi and I am a doctor by profession. I have stepped in to clinical practice after my graduation in 2004 and I am about to pursuit my dream career in Sports Medicine soon. I am currently working in Male' Maldives as a medical officer.
The hospital name is ADK Hospital (http://www.adkhospital.mv/) and it is the only private hospital in the country. Currently there are following posts available which are to be filled on urgent basis.
SPECIALIST:
Gynae & Obs
Radiologist
Cardiologist
Gastroenterologist (preferably with his/her own ERCP & Endoscopy equipment) More like establishing the speciality.
Neurologist
Nephrologist
The basic salary for the above posts is ranging between 2500 to 3000 US $ with additional food allowance. Over time is usually paid on 1/3 of basic salary & there is a percentage on every procedure done by the specialist. Fully furnished family accommodation and return economy class airfare will be provided.
PARAMEDICAL STAFF:
Senior Staff Nurses
Emergency Room Nurses
Paediatric Nurses
NICU Nurses
ICU Nurses
Labour Room Nurses
The basic salary for the above posts (Excluding senior staff nurses) is 400 to 500 US $ with additional food allowance. Over time is usally paid on 1/3 of the basic salary basis. Fully furnished, single room on shared basis will be provided along with the return economy class airfare.

P.S: Just want to clear one doubt here (if anyone has it in his/her mind) that I AM NOT AN AGENT/BROKER/MIDDLE MAN. I am just a Pakistani who wants his fellow doctors to know that there are opportunities to work in this part of the world as well. There are 140(I reckon) Pakistanis in Maldives mostly doctors and rest teachers and I know some of them do this "Agent" business just to earn few hundred dollars when every single step in applying for a job is "Free". Most of jobs are usually and quickly filled up by Indian doctors because India is very near to Maldives and also because Indians support each other unlike we Pakistanis (Yes I am ashamed to write it, but it is a fact) So I thought why I should not be the one proud Pakistani to instigate towards it.
Just a REMINDER: All positions need to be filled on urgent basis.

Sorry dude, but there is no vacancy for pharmacist here as most of the pharmacies are run by Indians and as I mentioned earlier they are in abundance.
You should try for pharmacist jobs in Saudi Arabia or some other middle east country.

respectively i wanted to ask you that i am Dr.Faisal Anis ,fresh graduate form Ukraine , did my Fsc from Libya Fedral board,currently working in clinic as a doctor,, from last 2 months,
Kindly sir i wanted to ask you is there any opprotunity out there for me to work as a doctor or any medical field,cause i cant adjusct my life here , never been in pakistan n family living in Libya ,
i only want to get job coz want to adjust abroad , i have done job as a dispensor for 2 years, and now as a docor from last 2 months, i did MBBS degree with good results,

Re: Re: Jobs in Maldivesdear if u r in pakistan, than it is very easy to get a job in maldive. now a days oversease employment corporation have got a contract from ministry of health of maldive to recruit the medical staff for maldive. therefore no need to stuck with any agent directly go to oec offices spread there all over in pakistan and proceed for it.
