PakMediNet Discussion Forum : Obstetrics and Gynecology : Adnexal Torsion
Is conservative management of adnexal torsion prudent? In other words, laparoscopy reveals a twisted adnexa as a probable cause of abdominal pain. Can the adnexa be then untwisted and left alone?

As generally it is an emergency situation and if the diagnosis is correct, the treatment is removal of the ipsilateral adnexa and not conservative.
