It seems no one is interested in the ethical issue, probably no one wants to comment on something wrong which is so rampant in the society.Do we as a society completely lack the courage to stand up against something which is wrong or maybe we have our own little vested interests.Probably both are true, but if this stage has reached then we should be prepared for the worst, and we should stop complaining about the deterioration in the society.
May Allah have mercy upon us.

I think PMDC should first look for Quacks and then should try to implement other regulations. I have seen compoders practicing and running clinics. In such circumstances, why we expect that our country should grow ?

The issue of checking the quacks has been troubling for quite a long time now,it is simply incomprehensible why the council is so ignorant of the issue, docosama is right, when compounders are practicing and there is no one to check them then it is only a wishful thinking to expect the council to check the medical practitioners who are doing only a small malpractice, that is advertising their services on the media which is against the regulations set by the council.

In reply to Dr Osama, I feel many of our colleagues` behaviour is worse than quacks. At times it is shameful.

The reason is simple-PMDC is presided by the most unethical persons of them all. The would be hard presses to find anyone who compares to current PMDC head in this regard.

because this is a political appointment to satisfy somebody with a big influence as most of the other appointments in Pakistan. The role of PMDC should be more active in uprooting these problems but if u visit PMDC u will find an atmosphere of tranquility and peaceful ness as if everything is i great shape in the country.
May god bless them .
